The UK-based gold recovery services company said that the development with the second plant will enable plant 1, the incumbent processing plant at the Kenyan gold mine to be closed, in line with previously disclosed plans.
As part of stage 2 of the new processing plant, Goldplat has installed a crusher circuit and three additional leach tanks. The stage 1 of the new processing plant was commissioned in February 2017 with the exception of the crusher circuit.

The acquisition also includes the assumption of approximately $1.4bn of Gulf Power debt.
Gulf Power serves nearly 450,000 customers in eight counties throughout northwest Florida. The utility has about 9,500 miles (15,288km) of power lines and 2,300MW of electric generating capacity.

Pursuant to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources decree 1793K/12/MEM/2018, a 100% participating interest has been awarded to Pertamina on this license, as well as the other seven PSC’s currently being renewed in Indonesia.

Last week, the body that governs Puerto Rico’s energy sector, the Puerto Rico Energy Commission (PREC), issued final rules regarding microgrid development on the island. According to a fact sheet issued by the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), the rules define microgrid owners and operators and divide microgrids into three classes.

Following a period of commissioning and testing conducted during April, the first commercial load of LPG was transported from the gas processing plant on 17 May 2018.
By mid-June 2018, the plant is expected to reach full operational capacity at which point LPG production is planned to be at a rate of 50 tonnes per day, equivalent to approximately 400 barrels of oil per day.

As a result of this two-year contract, SIMMONS EDECO will provide wellhead and valve maintenance services for all North Sea assets owned by this valued customer.
In addition, the company will continue to provide onshore repair and refurbishment services for these assets, manage equipment and supplies, and provide custom engineering solutions, as needs arise.
