(Tue, 09 Aug 2022) Sudan and South Sudanâs oil sectors play a vital role in both economies and are closely linked; most of the oil producing assets are near or extend across their shared border. Oil production in Sudan and South Sudan declined because of continued domestic political instability in both countries following South Sudanâs secession from Sudan in 2011.
Just months after it acquired clean power developer Urban Grid in a $650 million deal, Brookfield Renewable Partners said it paid $700 million for what it termed a “leading integrated distributed generation developer” in the U.S.
Energy storage company Fluence Energy said it partnered with a contract manufacturer to open a new manufacturing facility in Utah to serve regional delivery and address what it said are ongoing supply chain constraints.
Terabase Energy announced a $44 million Series B financing co-led by the Bill Gates platform Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Prelude Ventures with additional participation by SJF Ventures and other existing investors.
