Nigeria militants say readying fighters to hit 'enemy' in Niger Delta -statement

LAGOS, Jan 6 (Reuters) - A Nigerian militant group, which
has claimed attacks on oil pipelines in the Niger Delta, said in
a statement on Friday that it had asked its fighters to prepare
to fight the "enemy" as authorities were not ready for dialogue.

Jan 6 (Reuters) - U.S. oil and natural gas producers added
jobs in November, the sector's first monthly employment increase
in more than two years as drillers returned to the well pad due

U.S. drillers add oil rigs for 10th week in a row -Baker Hughes

Jan 6 (Reuters) - U.S. energy companies this week added oil
rigs for a tenth week in a row, extending the drilling recovery
into an eighth month as crude prices remained near an 18-month
high.
Drillers added four oil rigs in the week to Jan. 6, bringing
the total count up to 529, the most since December 2015, energy
services firm Baker Hughes Inc said on Friday.

English-language Press TV quoted a statement published on Friday
by the NIOC as saying.

US Energy Department Funds Low-Carbon Jet Fuel Demonstration Plant

New funding from the U.S. Department of Energy will support development of a demonstration-scale facility using industrial off gases to product 3 million gallons per year of low-carbon jet and diesel fuels.
