SINGAPORE, Sept 6 (Reuters) - It's difficult to be anything
other than cynical about Saudi Arabia and Russia saying they
will work together in global oil markets through a
newly-announced joint taskforce.

TOKYO, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Brent crude prices were steady on
Tuesday, holding most of their gains from the previous session

SHANGHAI, Sept 6 (Reuters) - The northern Chinese province
of Shanxi, the country's biggest coal producing region, has
awarded 947.78 million yuan ($142 million) to six major coal
enterprises this year for shutting down surplus capacity, one of
the firms said late on Monday.
