WASHINGTON, Sept 6 (Reuters) - A vessel from Iran's Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps came within 100 yards of a U.S.
military ship in the central Gulf on Sept. 4, two U.S. Defense
Department officials told Reuters on Tuesday.
SAO PAULO, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Brazil's Petroleo Brasileiro
SA agreed to sell 90 percent of its natural
gas pipeline unit to a group of investors led by Canada's
Brookfield Asset Management Inc for $5.2 billion, a
source with direct knowledge of the deal said on Tuesday.

Sept 6 (Reuters) - Four Houston-area refineries were unable
to receive crude oil from tankers on Tuesday after a portion of
the Houston Ship Channel was shut due to a fire aboard an empty

it would buy privately held Yates Petroleum Corp and some of its
