Could the Pipeline Network Solve the Renewable Storage Problem?

The progress made by renewable generation over the past two decades has been nothing short of spectacular. But as more wind and solar generation has flooded onto the grid, it has had to face an endless refrain from opponents about variability. Attend any mainstream power industry conference and you hear speaker after speaker mention the fact that the sun doesn’t always shine or the wind doesn’t always blow as though it would be a “what do you know” moment for the gathered multitudes.

have to divulge intricate details about their vast networks of
oil and gas pipelines, the government said on Wednesday, a key

Bongo shrugged off international calls for a recount of last
week's disputed vote, saying it was a matter for the

Saudi's SABIC sells Polymershapes unit to U.S. firm

KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Saudi Basic
Industries Corp (SABIC) has agreed to sell its
Polymershapes unit to U.S. investment firm Blackfriars Corp,
SABIC said without giving a value for the deal.

Gabon's Bongo says defeated opponent cheated vote

PARIS, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Gabon's re-elected President Ali
Bongo, who has come under international scrutiny following his
razor-thin election win last week, said on Wednesday that if
electoral fraud was committed it was by his opponent Jean Ping.
