KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Malaysian lenders are
bracing for a hit to profits this year as they bump up
provisions for sour loans to the local oil and gas services
sector that has been battered by the slump in energy prices and
cutbacks in projects.

MOSCOW, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Reaching an agreement to
stabilise global oil prices, including a possible deal to freeze
output, is "non-critical" for Russia, its Energy Minister
Alexander Novak was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying on
Sunday.

AMMAN, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Warplanes bombed a strategic camp
on the northern edge of Aleppo on Sunday as Syrian government
and rebel forces battled for control of the high ground in a
Russian-backed offensive that has left Washington's Syria policy
in tatters.

ALGIERS, Sept 25 (Reuters) - All options are possible for
OPEC concerning an output cut or freeze with producers agreed on
the need to stabilize the market, Algerian Energy Minister
Noureddine Bouterfa said on Sunday.
