PARIS, Dec 22 (Reuters) - The chief executive of French
energy group Engie has sent a complaint to the French
financial markets regulator warning of attempts to undermine the
company, an Engie spokesman said on Thursday.
CAIRO, Dec 22 (Reuters) - An OPEC committee responsible for
monitoring compliance with a global agreement to reduce oil
output will meet in the first half of January, Kuwait's oil
minister said on Thursday.
DUBAI, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's stock market edged
up on Thursday before the release of the kingdom's state budget

RIYADH, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia said on Thursday it
had successfully cut into its huge state budget deficit this
year and will increase government spending in 2017 to boost
flagging economic growth.
CAIRO, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Egypt's Petroleum Minister Tarek
El Molla said on Thursday his country was seeking to reach an
agreement with Iraq over importing crude oil directly and that
he hoped to finalise the deal by the first quarter of 2017.
