LONDON, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Hedge fund bullishness towards
the price of crude oil appears to have peaked for the time
being, with fund managers booking some profits after the strong
rally in the final seven weeks of 2016.

Canada's oil heartland of Alberta needs to be replaced after an
act of "mischief" caused C$500,000 ($380,000) to C$700,000 in
damage to it, police said on Monday.
Imtex Membranes Corp., originator of the Permylene Membrane System, is the first commercially available facilitated transport membrane system that is a high performance, lower cost alternative to distillation for olefin extraction and purification in the petrochemical and refining industries.
Saudi Arabia is poised to launch its National Renewable Energy Program’s first round of tendering. According to Khalid Al-Falih, the kingdom’s energy minister and also chairman of Saudi Aramco, it is “incredibly close” to the launch.
Four renewable energy projects in developing countries in the Pacific and Africa are to receive $44.5 million of funding. The money will come from a project facility set up by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
