International on Thursday reported stronger than
expected first-quarter earnings and said lower energy costs in
the next two quarters would help its performance, sending its

Philippines could hit levels seen in Somalia unless security is
tightened, the chief security minister said on Thursday,
following a spate of kidnappings.
