CARACAS, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Venezuela will use this
weekend's Non-Aligned Summit to meet fellow oil producers and
gather support for a global deal to strengthen oil prices at a
gathering in Algeria this month, Oil Minister Eulogio del Pino
said.
CALGARY, Alberta, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Canadian producer
BlackPearl Resources Inc is looking for a partner to
develop its 80,000-barrel-per-day Blackrod oil sands project in
northern Alberta, the company's chief executive told Reuters on
Friday.
Rooftop solar, which has surged more than 1,000 percent since 2010, will barely grow at all next year. Residential installations are expected to increase by 21 percent this year, but in 2017 the figure will inch upward by about 0.3 percent.

NEW YORK, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Gasoline futures have soared
and prices at the pump in certain states have started to spike
as a result of an ongoing shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline, the
key artery bringing gasoline and other products to the U.S. East
Coast.
PARIS, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Hungary expects European Union
clearance to build two Russian nuclear reactors at its Paks
nuclear site in the coming weeks, a senior Hungarian government
official said on Friday.
LanzaTech Inc., based in Skokie, Illinois, produced 1,500 gallons of the fuel known as Lanzanol. It’s made from ethanol created through a fermentation process. It’s estimated to be 65 percent cleaner than conventional jet fuel, according to a statement on Virgin Atlantic’s website.
MOSCOW, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Russia's GazpromNeft,
the oil arm of state gas firm Gazprom, plans to launch its
Messoyakha oil field within weeks, a senior executive said,
adding to its own fast-growing production and contributing to a
global glut.
