RIYADH/DUBAI, Sept 29 (Reuters) - A U.S. law allowing
lawsuits against Saudi Arabia over the Sept. 11 attacks met a
stony silence from Riyadh on Thursday but some Saudis bristled,
saying the kingdom should curb business and security ties in
response.
WASHINGTON, Sept 29 (Reuters) - U.S. lawmakers on Thursday
expressed doubts about Sept. 11 legislation they forced on
President Barack Obama, saying the new law allowing lawsuits
against Saudi Arabia could be narrowed to ease concerns about
its effect on Americans abroad.
Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport plans to become the largest solar-producing airport in India, aiming to generate 14.6 MW of solar power. The airport announced in December that it will source 40 percent of its electricity from solar energy, offsetting approximately 17,000 tons of carbon dioxide, or the equivalent of more than 3,200 passenger vehicles each year. The airport is now deciding upon a developer to execute the project.
By the time this column is published, oral arguments in the legal challenge to the Clean Power Plan will have already been made. The en banc panel of 10 appeals court judges is not likely to render its decision before the New Year. No matter the opinion, it will be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

email to follow company policy of not offering discounts on new
cars, responding to some investors' concerns about the practice.

received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice seeking
information on the accounting methodology for the acquisition
and classification of oil and gas properties.
