Sudan calls Trump ban unfortunate in light of sanctions progress

KHARTOUM, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Sudan called President Donald
Trump's decision to ban entry of its citizens "very unfortunate"
in light of "historic steps" taken just weeks earlier to lift
sanctions for cooperation on combating terrorism, its foreign
ministry said on Saturday.

Energy pipelines back in investor favor after Trump orders

NEW YORK, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Investors have rushed back into
North American pipelines after U.S. President Donald Trump
revived growth prospects in a sector that struggled to cope with
a two-year oil price slump and strident opposition from
environmental and Native American activists.

Braskem buys Odebrecht stake in Brazil environmental services firm Cetrel

SAO PAULO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Brazilian petrochemical
company Braskem SA agreed to buy a controlling stake
in environmental services company Cetrel SA for 610 million
reais ($194 million) from Odebrecht Utilities SA, Braskem said
on Friday in a securities filing.

Trump says Mexican imports tax one option but others possible

WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump
said in an interview on Friday that he has the right to impose a
tax on imports from Mexico, but there were other options that
could be "much more positive" for both countries.

UPDATE 3-Canada Energy East pipeline review to restart under current regulator

OTTAWA/CALGARY, Alberta, Jan 27 (Reuters) - A review of
TransCanada Corp's proposed Energy East pipeline will
start again from the beginning, Canada's National Energy Board
(NEB) regulator said on Friday, voiding all decisions from the
project's previous examining panel that has been accused of
bias.
