Indian Point, closest nuclear plant to New York City, set to retire by 2021

(Wed, 01 Feb 2017) In January 2017, Entergy Nuclear and the state of New York reached an agreement to retire the two nuclear reactors at the Indian Point Energy Center, located in Buchanan, New York, about 25 miles north of New York City. Indian Point is one of four nuclear power plants in New York state and accounts for about 12% of total electricity generated from all sources statewide.

Equis Energy to invest $300 mln in two solar plants in Australia

MELBOURNE, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Equis Energy said on Wednesday
it plans to build two solar power plants for A$400 million ($303
million) in Australia, marking the Singapore-based renewable

approved on Tuesday the sale of Liquigas Distribuidora SA to a
unit of Ultrapar Participações SA for 2.57 billion
reais ($816 million), according to a securities filing.

Magellan says less diesel spilled in Iowa than estimated

Jan 31 (Reuters) - Magellan Midstream Partners on
Tuesday said about 1,100 barrels of diesel had spilled from one
of its refined products pipelines in Worth County, Iowa last
week, lower than its earlier estimates.

document seen by Reuters on Tuesday.
