E.ON has partnered with Finnish-based technology firm Virta to optimize its EV charging network across Europe.
New York’s Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has ambitious goals for renewable energy and energy storage. In his state of the state address this year, he announced the he wanted 1.5 GW of energy storage on the grid by 2025 and in June NYSERDA and the Department of Public Service, developed the New York State Energy Storage Roadmap to identify the best path toward the 2025 target.

PECO (formerly the Philadelphia Electric Company) announced that the utility will be offering a new incentive for commercial customers who install electric vehicle charging stations for public use.
