Oil prices remain near 2-mth lows as investors bet on weaker prices

SINGAPORE, July 12 (Reuters) - Oil prices remained near
two-month lows from the previous trading session on Tuesday as
financial traders lost confidence in a recent price rally,
switching positions in anticipation of lower prices.

Tuesday no attacks had taken place at its facilities after

RIO DE JANEIRO, July 11 (Reuters) - The local organizing
committee for the upcoming Rio Olympics is running a deficit of
between 400 million and 500 million reais ($121 million to $151
million), a source with direct knowledge of the committee's
finances told Reuters on Monday.

committee has recommended that France increase taxation on
coal-fired power plants, or set stiffer carbon emissions
standards, to encourage a shift to gas-fired plants to reduce
carbon emissions.
