Australian marine energy developer Carnegie Wave Energy has embarked on an ambitious project in the Indian Ocean nation of Mauritius to establish new benchmarks in microgrid solutions tailored for high penetration renewable energy.
WARSAW, July 19 (Reuters) - The consortium that built
Poland's new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal has filed a
request for an additional payment of up to $49 million for the
project from Polskie LNG, which operates the facility, a
consortium member said on Tuesday.

July 19 (Reuters) - Southeast Asia stocks were sluggish on
Tuesday, with Vietnam closing nearly 1 percent lower after blue
chips lost ground, while Singapore fell, dragged down by oil and
gas stocks.
Vietnam slipped in afternoon trade, dragged down by
energy stocks, with top-listed energy firm by value Petrovietnam
Gas Joint Stock Corp down 1.54 percent.

(Tue, 19 Jul 2016) In response to India's increasing reliance on petroleum imports, India plans to bring online the country's first strategic petroleum reserve (SPR). The first phase of India's SPR includes three locations (Visakhapatnam, Mangalore, and Padur) in southern India with a combined capacity of 39.1 million barrels of crude oil. The Visakhapatnam facility on the eastern coast began filling its underground caverns last summer.
