SIRTE, Libya, July 22 (Reuters) - Libyan forces said on
Friday they had edged further into the centre of Sirte as they
seek to recapture the city from Islamic State, following heavy
battles until late the previous evening that left dozens dead.
After the most recent oil production boom in the Gulf of Mexico ended, oil producers turned to small, light offshore structures to exploit the smaller reserves in shallow waters. These structures could be built and installed quickly and easily, allowing for more gas to be extracted in a shorter timeframe.
July 22 (Reuters) - Husky Energy Inc, Canada's No.
3 integrated oil company, reported a second-quarter loss,
compared with a year-earlier profit, as production fell due to
planned maintenance and the Fort McMurray wildfire in Alberta.

as Valero Energy Corp and Phillips 66 look set
to post another quarter of disappointing earnings, putting the
industry on track for its worst year since the U.S. shale boom
began in 2011.
