WARSAW, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Shareholders in Poland's
state-run gas firm PGNiG approved on Thursday the
company's plan to buy back 2.2 percent of its own shares,
spending 700 million zlotys ($183 mln).

WASHINGTON, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Tesla Motors Inc has
won U.S. antitrust approval to buy solar panel installer
SolarCity Corp, the Federal Trade Commission said on
Thursday.

OTTAWA, Aug 25 (Reuters) - A dispute over Canadian canola
exports to China intensified on Thursday when Beijing criticized
Ottawa's insistence that bilateral relations could not improve
until the matter is settled.

Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) introduced S. 3159 to make energy storage eligible for an investment tax credit (ITC) under section 48.  The bill introduced last month would make energy storage systems with a capacity of at least five kilowatt hours, regardless of whether it was supplied by a renewable resource, investment tax credit eligible.  For instance, a stand-alone storage project that drew power from the grid would be ITC eligible under this bill.

FRANKFURT/MILAN, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Western partners in
Russia's Gazprom-led gas pipeline extension to Europe

office blocked its clearance last month, company and legal

move of the Syrian Kurdish PYD to east of the Euphrates river
within a week, Turkish Defence Minister Fikri Isik said on
Thursday, a day after Turkey launched its first U.S.-backed
incursion into Syria.
