LONDON, Sept 1 (Reuters) - U.S. motorists used a record
volume of gasoline in June as good weather and cheap fuel
encouraged a strong start to the summer driving season.

TAMPA BAY, Fla., Sept 1 (Reuters) - Forecasters and public
officials urged Floridians to prepare for potentially
catastrophic flooding and damaging winds as Tropical Storm
Hermine was expected to become a hurricane by the time it

NEW YORK, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Ferrellgas Partners LP
has quietly shed a five-year contract at a Philadelphia-area
crude rail terminal just a year after it obtained it through a
deal that gave the propane company its first foothold in the oil
logistics business.

TOKYO, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Saudi Aramco and the Japanese
government are set to agree on a roughly 2 million barrel
expansion of crude storage capacity in Okinawa, used by the
state-run firm to store oil, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said
on Thursday.

SINGAPORE, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Oil prices rose in Asian trade
on Thursday as the U.S. dollar weakened, rebounding from a more
than 3 percent drop in the previous session following
surprisingly large builds in U.S. crude and distillate
stockpiles last week.

BEIJING, Sept 1 (Reuters) - China's top planning agency said
on Thursday it would continue to cut red tape, including
steamlining approvals on investment projects, in the latest bid
to bolster the economy.
