Australian thermal coal prices hit $100 per tonne for first time since 2012

SINGAPORE, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Australian thermal coal spot
prices have hit $100 per tonne for the first time since 2012,
with a cargo ordered at that price for delivery from Newcastle
port in November, according to trading platform GLOBALcoal on
Tuesday.

Indonesia says coal price rally to extend into Q1, boost mining revenues

coal prices could extend through to the end of the first quarter
of 2017, an Indonesian mining ministry official said on Tuesday,
