UPDATE 1-Alberta mulls setting green electricity target in law

CALGARY, Alberta, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The Alberta government
is considering enshrining in law its target of generating 30
percent of the province's electricity from renewable sources by
2030, the Minister Responsible for the Climate Change Office,
Shannon Phillips, said on Monday.

Mexico's Pemex says crude oil exports up more than 20 pct in Sept

MEXICO CITY, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Mexico's state-owned oil
company Pemex said on Monday that crude oil exports rose nearly
22 percent in September compared to the same month last year,
the highest level of shipments in more than five years.

PDVSA said on Monday a long-awaited bond swap had
enabled it to delay until 2020 $2.8 billion in debt originally
maturing next year, giving the cash-strapped company a financial

occupied privately owned land in North Dakota in the path of the
