Oct 31 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas output in the lower 48
states increased to 80.3 billion cubic feet per day in August
from 79.6 bcfd in July, the U.S. Energy Information
Administration's said in its monthly 914 production report.
LONDON, Oct 31 (Reuters) - OPEC's oil output is likely to
set another record high in October, a Reuters survey found on
Monday, as Nigerian and Libyan output partially recovered from
disruptions and Iraq boosted exports.

CALGARY, Alberta, Oct 31 (Reuters) - The Canadian government
on Monday approved the C$1.3 billion ($968.78 million) expansion
of a natural gas gathering pipeline in western Canada belonging
to a wholly owned subsidiary of TransCanada Corp, with
36 conditions attached.

Nancy Kaisa has for years used solar power to light her premises
at the Entasopia shopping centre in Kajiado, in southern Kenya.
But recently she's started using energy from a solar mini-grid
system to operate her fuel pumps and meet her other energy
needs, ditching her diesel generator.
