WASHINGTON, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Some U.S. Supreme Court
justices on Wednesday appeared wary about the foreign policy
implications of making it too easy for foreign governments to be
sued in U.S. courts as they considered a lawsuit by an
Oklahoma-based oil drilling company that claims Venezuela
unlawfully seized 11 drilling rigs six years ago.

officials sought to determine the extent of gasoline shortages
on Wednesday, two days after a fatal blast in Alabama shut a
crucial supply pipeline to the East Coast, as retail gasoline
prices inched higher in southeastern states.
Nov 2 (Reuters) - U.S. miners of steel-making coal will be
slow to lift output, even with prices tripling so far this year,
as they need to renew operations shuttered during a five-year
price collapse that pushed many into bankruptcy court, industry
watchers say.
The Bureau of Land Management on Oct. 28 sold a total of 16 geothermal leases in Nevada and Utah, adding nearly $169,000 to local, state and federal treasuries. Fourteen geothermal leases in Nevada, two in Utah and two in California will remain on the block on a non-competitive basis for two years.
