LAUNCESTON, Australia, Nov 22 (Reuters) - It may be a tad
early to call a peak in the price of thermal coal in
top-consuming region Asia, but at the very least the momentum
seems to have been lost from a commodity that has surged some
130 percent in the past 10 months.

'Surreal' that Brazil's Lula didn't know about corruption, ex-senator says

scheme active during his tenure, in testimony on Monday marking

Oil prices rise in anticipation of planned OPEC-led production cut

SINGAPORE, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Oil prices rose to their
highest level since October on Tuesday as the market priced in a
potential output cut led by producer cartel OPEC, although
analysts warned that a failure to agree a cut could lead to a
ballooning supply overhang by early 2017.

Abengoa asks U.S. court to prevent lawsuits by rebel creditors

CHICAGO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Spanish renewable energy and
engineering firm Abengoa SA has asked a U.S. bankruptcy
court to enjoin legal action and future claims by creditors who
are unsatisfied with a high-stakes plan to restructure $10
billion of debt.

UPDATE 1-Tesoro Logistics boosts midstream business in deals worth $1.1 bln

Nov 21 (Reuters) - Tesoro Logistics LP said it
would buy some oil, natural gas and other gathering systems in
North Dakota for about $700 million, and will also acquire
terminal and storage assets from major shareholder Tesoro Corp
for about $400 million.

Trump says will quit Pacific trade deal on day one of presidency

WASHINGTON, Nov 21 (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Donald
Trump released a video on Monday laying out actions he will take
on his first day in office on Jan. 20, including withdrawing the
United States from a Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

UPDATE 2-Blast in Libya's Benghazi kills three children - hospital official

BENGHAZI, Libya, Nov 21 (Reuters) - At least three children
were killed and 20 people wounded by a blast in the Libyan city
of Benghazi on Monday, witnesses and a medical official said.

UPDATE 1-Venezuela's PDVSA delays $404 mln coupon payments on bonds -JPMorgan

CARACAS, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Venezuelan state oil company
PDVSA has activated a 30-day grace period for $404 million in
interest payments on its 2021, 2024 and 2035 bonds, JPMorgan
analysts said in a report on Monday.

UPDATE 5-Canada speeds up plan to phase out coal power, targets 2030

TORONTO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Canada will speed up plans to
virtually eliminate traditional coal-fired electricity by 2030,
the government said on Monday, a stance contrasting sharply with
that of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, who has pledged to
revive the sector.
