(Tue, 06 Dec 2016) Spectra Energy Corporation has almost completed the first two natural gas pipeline projects in New England since 2010. On November 1, Spectra placed part of the Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) project into service, following the late-October approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The remainder of the project is expected to be completed this month.

billion Carmichael mine in Australia's Queensland state is "back
on track", with early construction work due to start in June or

MEXICO CITY, Dec 5 (Reuters) - Mexico on Monday auctioned
eight out of ten deep water oil and gas blocks up for grabs in
the Gulf of Mexico, and scored a joint venture for a major crude
field in the most hotly-anticipated round of the country's
energy opening so far.

SYDNEY, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Australia's top power and gas
retailer Origin Energy said on Tuesday it will spin off
its interests in conventional oil and gas fields in an initial
public offering expected to be worth at least A$1 billion ($750
million), helping it cut debt.

issued an injunction to block the sale of the fuels distribution
unit of state oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras)
after a request by workers, according to the court's press
office.
