LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Russia will make a "significant
push" for faster privatisations, though stake sales in some
companies such as lender VTB may have to wait until
Western sanctions are lifted, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei
Moiseev said on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI, Dec 6 (Reuters) - India, the world's
third-biggest energy consumer, is striving to grow its natural
gas use and shift away from oil and coal for power and industry,
but its lack of gas import infrastructure is stymieing faster
adoption of the cleaner-burning fuel.

LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - European shares extended gains on
Tuesday, with the utilities sector leading the market higher
after British power producer Drax Group Plc announced it
plans to buy an energy supplier and four gas power plant
projects.

LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - European shares edged lower in
early trading on Tuesday, with commodities-related stocks coming
under pressure following a drop in prices of crude oil and
industrial metals.

SYDNEY, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Papua New Guinea's petroleum
minister on Tuesday played down threats of disruptions to
ExxonMobil's $19 billion PNG LNG project due to landowners being
unable to buy a stake in the project by the end of this year.

(Tue, 06 Dec 2016) Spectra Energy Corporation has almost completed the first two natural gas pipeline projects in New England since 2010. On November 1, Spectra placed part of the Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) project into service, following the late-October approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The remainder of the project is expected to be completed this month.
