China to Cut Solar, Wind Power Prices as Project Costs Fall

China is reducing the amount of money it pays to newly completed solar and wind power generators for their electricity, in order to reflect declines in construction costs, the country’s price regulator and economic planner said Monday.

Oil prices fall on surprise build in U.S. crude stocks

Singapore, Dec 29 (Reuters) - U.S. oil prices fell on
Thursday following a surprise build in the country's crude
stocks shown in data published by the American Petroleum
Institute (API) late on Wednesday.

UPDATE 2-Obama designates monuments, protects federal land in Utah, Nevada

WASHINGTON, Dec 28 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama on
Wednesday designated over 1.6 million acres of land in Utah and
Nevada as national monuments, protecting two areas rich in
Native American artifacts from mining, oil and gas drilling in
