(Tue, 12 Sep 2017) Since January 2015, the production of primary aluminum in the United States has fallen by more than 50%. The United States consistently produced about 140,000 metric tons of aluminum each month until mid-2015, when output slowed significantly.

(Tue, 12 Sep 2017) The analyses presented in this report are based on model results for a number of international transportation energy consumption scenarios using ITEDD. This analysis demonstrates new EIA modeling and analysis capabilities, presents examples of key energy-demand determinants, and shows how a quantitative framework can aid in understanding them.

Every day, the number of new power generators from renewable resources joining the world's collective electricity grid steadily goes up. Growing at an equal pace are the people working to keep the balance between supply and demand on that collective grid.

If a case currently before the U.S. International Trade Commission results in petitioners Suniva and SolarWorld winning the relief they seek for solar panel pricing, Schletter President and CEO Rusty Schmit says his solar mounting systems manufacturing business could be cut in half.

Seattle-based APsystems this week at Solar Power International is debuting its new microinverter with Rule 21 grid support functionality.

The cost of generating electricity from offshore wind farms fell sharply in the U.K. to below the price the next nuclear reactors will charge, making the form of clean energy one of the cheapest ways to supply the grid.

At Solar Power International in Las Vegas today, JinkoSolar said it will incentivize its customers who use commercial PACE financing — a program that is growing in popularity in the U.S.
