According to job numbers released this week by The Solar Foundation (TSF), the solar industry employed just about 4 percent less people in 2017 than it did in 2016. The Solar Jobs Census found that 250,271 Americans work in solar as of 2017, representing a 3.8 percent decline, or about 9,800 fewer jobs, since 2016.
