Energy Update
April 15 (Reuters) - Oilfield services company Hunting Plc said its first-quarter operating profit fell about 60 percent, hurt by the drop in global rig counts and reduced capital expenditures across the sector.
For two years, US polyethylene prices climbed higher and higher. For two years, feedstock prices had little-to-no impact on domestic polyethylene contracts. Upward or downward shifts in domestic demand seemed to have little effect.
(Wed, 15 Apr 2015) Projections in the Annual Energy Outlook 2015, released April 14, show the potential to eliminate net U.S. energy imports sometime between 2020 and 2030. This reflects changes in both supply and demand, as continued growth in oil and natural gas production and the use of renewables combine with demand-side efficiencies to moderate demand growth. The United States has been a net importer of energy since the 1950s.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (Reuters) - Malaysian oil field services firm Bumi Armada Bhd has won contracts worth $300 million to provide a floating storage unit in Delimara, Malta, to ElectroGas Malta Limited, it said on Tuesday.
