WASHINGTON, Dec 16 (Reuters) - House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said on Wednesday she was concerned American jobs could be lost by lifting the crude oil export ban as part of the sweeping spending bill before Congress this week.

NEW YORK, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Shares of oil producers edged higher on Wednesday after U.S. lawmakers approved a spending bill that would lift a 40-year-old ban on domestic crude exports, while U.S. solar companies surged as Congress extended investment tax credits beyond 2016.

NEW YORK, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Oil producers' shares rose while refiners fell in premarket trading on Wednesday after U.S. lawmakers approved a spending bill that would lift a 40-year-old ban on domestic crude exports.

Dec 16 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas futures set a 14-year low early on Wednesday on forecasts for continued unseasonably mild weather that should keep heating demand extraordinarily light through late December. The front-month January contract is testing the $1.76 2001 support level. If it falls below that, futures would hit their lowest point since March 1999.
