PARIS, Feb 2 (Reuters) - French oil and gas company Total said on Tuesday that it had taken stakes in two solar power start-ups via its $100 million Total Energy Ventures venture capital fund as it expands in renewable energy.

Oregon-based crystalline-silicon solar manufacturer SolarWorld said on Jan. 29 that it has agreed to form a partnership with Germany’s sonnen Inc. to offer a solar + storage product.
