Vestas breaks first-quarter order record with U.S., China and Spain deals

COPENHAGEN, April 1 (Reuters) - Wind turbine maker Vestas has secured three turbine orders to bring this year's total intake to 1,806 megawatts (MW), the highest ever in a first quarter and continuing a strong trend from 2015.

Ethane production expected to increase as petrochemical consumption and exports expand

(Fri, 01 Apr 2016) Ethane production is expected to increase from 1.1 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2015 to 1.4 million b/d in 2017, accounting for two-thirds of total U.S. hydrocarbon gas liquid (HGL) production growth. Ethane, a key feedstock for petrochemical manufacturing, is recovered from raw natural gas at natural gas processing plants.

Solar-powered Apple Car Details and Photo Leaked

An anonymous leak from within the Apple corporation has revealed details about the secretive electric car project known as “Project Titan.” Previously thought to have been a passenger-carrying vehicle, the car is actually a small solar-powered iPhone delivery vehicle which operates autonomously. It appears to have been designed and built by high school students in the Solar Rollers energy education program.
