Ecuador sees oil trading at around $50 a barrel for rest of 2016

QUITO, June 8 (Reuters) - Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa
predicted on Wednesday that the global oil price would hover
around $50 a barrel for the rest of 2016, though he said that
would not be enough to relieve the financial strain on the
smallest OPEC nation.

UPDATE 2-Oklahoma medical examiner rules oilman McClendon's deadly crash an accident

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 8 (Reuters) - The fiery crash that
killed U.S. oilman Aubrey McClendon in March after his car hit a
wall was an accident, Oklahoma's medical examiner said on
Wednesday, echoing a police inquiry's findings a day earlier
that there was no evidence of suicide.

Croatian Deputy PM says ready to step down to save ruling coalition

ZAGREB, June 8 (Reuters) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister
Tomislav Karamarko, who heads the conservative HDZ party, said
on Wednesday he was ready to step down if two other key players

UPDATE 1-U.S. ethanol turns lower after EIA shows near-record output

CHICAGO, June 8 (Reuters) - U.S. ethanol output rose more
than expected to near-record rates last week, the U.S. Energy
Information Administration said on Wednesday, pressuring prices
for the biofuel.
