TOKYO, June 17 (Reuters) - Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan
Co and smaller rival Showa Shell Sekiyu will
merge on April 1 next year, the two companies said on Friday.

BEIJING, June 17 (Reuters) - China has granted independent
refiner Qingyuan Group Co Ltd a preliminary oil import quota of
4.04 million tonnes per year, the country's oil industry
