Dutch lower Groningen gas production cap to 24 bcm

THE HAGUE, June 24 (Reuters) - The Dutch government said on
Friday that it would lower the cap on production at the
Groningen gas field to 24 billion cubic metres a year for the
next five years.

AMSTERDAM, June 24 (Reuters) - The Dutch government has
decided to cut production at the giant Groningen gas field from
its current level of 27 billion cubic metres a year from October
1, 2016, Deputy Prime Minister Lodewijk Asscher said on Friday.
