its business plan was approved by its debtor-in-possession
lenders, clearing the first step towards emerging from Chapter

United States, France and Britain said in a joint statement on
Wednesday they were concerned by mounting tension around the
Zueitina oil terminal in Libya.

Aug 10 (Reuters) - Interserve Plc, a British support
services and construction company, said it would exit its
energy-from-waste business, after it took a 70 million pound
($91 million) charge in the first half from cost overruns and
delays in a contract in Glasgow.

Thailand's PTT Global Q2 down 45 pct, hit by shutdowns

BANGKOK, Aug 10 (Reuters) - PTT Global Chemical Pcl
, Thailand's largest petrochemical maker, posted a 45
percent drop in quarterly net profit on Wednesday, due to a
2-month scheduled shutdown of its refinery and an unplanned
turnaround of an olefins cracker.
