UPDATE 1-IEA sees global market awash with oil in 2017 if no OPEC cut

LONDON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - The oil market risks running
another surplus in 2017 without an output cut from OPEC, as
producers around the globe ramp up supply and demand growth
falters, the International Energy Agency said on Thursday.

Engie sees year core profits at low end of range

PARIS, Nov 10 (Reuters) - French gas and power group Engie
said on Thursday that its EBITDA measure of core
earnings fell 2 percent to 7.7 billion euros ($8.4 billion) and
said the full-year result would be at the lower end of it
forecast range.

SMA Solar sees limited impact from Trump victory for now

FRANKFURT, Nov 10 (Reuters) - SMA Solar, the
world's largest maker of solar inverters, sees no immediate
impact on its U.S. business from Donald Trump's victory in the
presidential election there, its chief executive said on
Thursday.

In 2015, U.S. coal production, consumption, and employment fell by more than 10%

(Thu, 10 Nov 2016) U.S. coal production dropped by more than 10% in 2015 to 897 million short tons (MMst), the lowest production level since 1986. Production in all three major coal-producing regions (the Appalachian, the Interior, and the Western) declined, as consumption of coal for electric power generation, industrial, and other uses fell by 13% to 798 MMst in 2015.
