HOUSTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - U.S. shale producers are
redeploying cash, rigs and workers, cautiously confident the
energy sector has turned a corner after Donald Trump's election
victory and OPEC's recent signal that it plans to curb
production.

WASHINGTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Donald
Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping established a "clear
sense of mutual respect" in a telephone call on Sunday night,
Trump's presidential transition office said early on Monday.

Microchannel gas-to-liquid plants convert stranded natural gas to marketable products

(Mon, 14 Nov 2016) The first microchannel gas-to-liquid (GTL) plant in the United States was completed in September. The new plant, built by ENVIA Energy, is located in Oklahoma and is expected to begin converting landfill gas into liquid petroleum products later this year.

Idemitsu to again delay purchase of Showa Shell shares from Royal Dutch Shell-Nikkei

TOKYO, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan
will again delay its planned purchase of Showa Shell
Sekiyu shares from Royal Dutch Shell because a
review by the Japan Fair Trade Commission remains ongoing, the
Nikkei newspaper said.

UPDATE 1-Oil steady near multi-month lows on OPEC output record, U.S. rig count

WUJIANG, China, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Thousands of tonnes of
urban waste are hidden behind scrubbed white walls at a new
power plant on the outskirts of the Chinese city of Wujiang,
with even its chimney disguised as a clock tower.

CORRECTED-China Oct crude oil output down 11.3 pct on year -stats bureau

BEIJING, Nov 14 (Reuters) - China's October's crude oil
production was down 11.3 percent from the same period last year
to 16.05 million tonnes, or 3.78 million barrels per day, data
from the statistics bureau showed.
