(Mon, 14 Nov 2016) The first microchannel gas-to-liquid (GTL) plant in the United States was completed in September. The new plant, built by ENVIA Energy, is located in Oklahoma and is expected to begin converting landfill gas into liquid petroleum products later this year.

TOKYO, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan
will again delay its planned purchase of Showa Shell
Sekiyu shares from Royal Dutch Shell because a
review by the Japan Fair Trade Commission remains ongoing, the
Nikkei newspaper said.

WUJIANG, China, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Thousands of tonnes of
urban waste are hidden behind scrubbed white walls at a new
power plant on the outskirts of the Chinese city of Wujiang,
with even its chimney disguised as a clock tower.

BEIJING, Nov 14 (Reuters) - China's October's crude oil
production was down 11.3 percent from the same period last year
to 16.05 million tonnes, or 3.78 million barrels per day, data
from the statistics bureau showed.
