UPDATE 1-U.S. crude draws down, products build as refiners ramp up - EIA

Dec 7 (Reuters) - U.S. crude stockpiles fell last week
despite a hefty build at the Cushing, Oklahoma hub while
gasoline and distillate inventories rose as refining rates
picked up, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said on
Wednesday.

UPDATE 2-SunPower to cut 25 pct jobs, close plant in cost-cutting effort

Dec 7(Reuters) - SunPower Corp, the No. 2 U.S.
solar panel maker, said on Wednesday it would lay off about 25
percent of its workforce, or 2,500 employees, and close one
plant as part of a cost-cutting plan announced last month to
counter slumping prices.

Libya's NOC evacuated some staff, did not stop loadings after clashes near oil ports - statement

TRIPOLI, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Libya's National Oil Corporation
(NOC) evacuated non-essential staff from Es Sider port after
reports of military clashes nearby on Wednesday but was not
suspending any loadings, it said in a statement.
