PARIS, Dec 14 (Reuters) - EDF's board has approved
the partial sale of the French state-controlled utility's
high-voltage power grid to state bank Caisse des Depots, a
source familiar with the situation said on Wednesday.
On one end of the phone, there was Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, who has pledged a good chunk of his fortune to ending climate change. On the other end of the line, there was President-elect Donald Trump, who has described climate change as a hoax and surrounded himself with fellow deniers.
BERLIN, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Germany is at risk of missing its
2020 target for cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent
from 1990, an environment ministry report showed on Wednesday.
