WASHINGTON, Dec 20 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama
on Tuesday permanently banned new oil and gas drilling in
federal waters in the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, in one of his
last environmental pushes before he leaves office next month.

SAO PAULO, Dec 20 (Reuters) - The Brazilian construction
firm Odebrecht and petrochemical company Braskem have agreed to
pay the U.S. and Swiss governments 700 million reais ($209
million) each to settle their roles in a sweeping corruption
case, the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper reported on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON, Dec 20 (Reuters) - The United States on Tuesday
blacklisted seven Russian businessmen and eight companies and
government enterprises over Russia's annexation of Crimea and
the conflict in Ukraine, the U.S. Treasury said in a statement.

MOSCOW, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Russia will cut oil exports to
markets outside the former Soviet Union (FSU) by 0.7 percent in
January-March from the fourth quarter of 2016, pipeline company
Transneft said on Tuesday, as Moscow prepares to reduce output
as part of a global pact.
