TORONTO, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose on
Wednesday to its highest close since September 2014, when it
reached a record high, as investors bet that the rally in oil
prices will lead to better growth in corporate earnings.

NEW YORK, Jan 4 (Reuters) - The former chief executive
officer of a company linked to troubled hedge fund manager
Platinum Partners was convicted of criminal tax fraud on
Wednesday, New York's attorney general said in a statement.

WASHINGTON, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Rex Tillerson, President-elect

With the possibility of greater gasoline exports, the US market may become more dependent on imports to make up the shortfall.

It seems counterintuitive, doesn’t it? If utilities are in the business of selling kilowatt-hours, then why would it make sense for them to help customers produce enough of their own kilowatt-hours that they don’t need to buy them from the utility anymore?
